An English Speaking Politician

We were discussing about the Coal-gate scam today during our lunch time. In the discussion came the details about how the Congress Govt of UPA-2 led by Sonia Gandhi has been trying to handle this situation where in the opposition BJP has been trying to corner it from all sides.

then one of my friends referred to this guy, Manish Tiwari, the official Spokesperson to the Congress ( Wiki; his page). He quoted - "This guy looks to me more like an English teaching school teacher than a politician.". He tries to pronounce words carefully as if he is in front of the media to be assessed for his TOEFL exam. He then tries to put these carefully pronounced words into some grammatically correct phrases and sentences and nothing much.

I got to see him today on the NDTV and he meant the same for me! Manish ji, people expect you to explain the ground situation and prove a point as a politician than just a person of English vocabulary who is desperately trying to prove the public about his English speaking skills.

By the way, the quality of English is good. The knowledge is properly put into use. But as a common Indian, we demand more than this from an elected member of parliament.

Its a weird state. AP is in a state of shame. Wondering, how the progress of the state is going to progress!

The state has already suffered losses with big companies like Nissan, Volkswagen, Royal En-filed moving out to Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu states.

No matter what, the Govt was strong stating the reasons that we have strong workforce and investors starting with few thousand to crores to run the factories in AP. Remember, we are second to Bangalore in IT exports from Hyderabad, followed by Chennai, Guragon, Mumbai, Trivandram (not in order of export value). But not all can become software Engineers and get a job in IT field. IT industry does create jobs for low profile persons like, Security team, operations team, facilities team and other supporting staff work to help run the business. Yet, these supporting jobs are no up to the mark, where in we can satisfy at least fifty percent of unemployment!

So, big industries have gone, which can create thousands of employment. Now, adding to the mistake are the recent power cuts. Many of the tiny, small, Medium size industries that are running in the APIIC industrial area are closing down for many days. There are hundreds of tiny industries, which are run by a single person in 1000 sft area with 2 workers, this tiny industries are closing down and there by creating many hundreds of unemployment. The main issue with this is, that the people losing their jobs are those who earn 3000 to 5000 rupees and month and who are grazing the poverty line.

The CM of AP, in yesterday, has requested people to consume less electricity and thereby reduce the load on the generators. The reason, he stated, said, that the rest power can be given to the farmers.

CM Sir, in the first place itself, there is no proper power  supply to the state sir. There are power cuts every hours at almost every corner of the state. I wanted to right this article yesterday itself! but there has been power cuts without timings and without the timetable. Power cuts must visit the households but not stay with us. The new papers have reported that there is a power cut of close to 10 hours in few places of AP.

Adding oil to the fire, we have ONE LAKH students passing out every year. but we dont have jobs for them. Not even for 50 thousand people. WHat are the efforts, the Govt., is putting to have a better performace in the lives of the students and the job aspirants. DONT SAY US that, Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu is an answer!

అంధేరా ప్రదేశ్ - Dark Knight vows of AP

ఆంధ్ర  ప్రదేశ్, ఈ పేరు వినగానే కొందరికి మింగుడు పడదు! మరికొందరు ఘుస్సా ఐతరు! ఏది ఏమైనపటికి అందరిని మెప్పించాలన్న ఒకేఒక్క ఉదేశ్యంతో, చితసుద్ధితో ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ఉన్నట్టు కనిపిస్తోంది. రాజు అనుకుంటే దేనికి కొదవ? వెంటనే పేరు మార్చండి అన్నారు. ఎలా మార్చుదాం, ఎవరిని నొప్పించకుండా, ప్రతియవాదం లేకుండా, అన్ని ప్రాతాల వాళ్ళని ఒకే తిపైకి తెచేవిధంగ ఈ పేరు ఉండాలి అని ఒక మంత్రి వర్యులు నిశ్చయించుకున్నాడు.

"ఆమ్ఫాట్ , బూం, బూం, ఫట్ స్వాహా : అన్నాడు" ఆ మంత్రానికి అర్ధం ఆ అమత్యులవారికి కూడా తెలియదు! ఏమి జరుగుతుందిరా దేవుడా అని... ఆత్రంగా ఎదురుచూస్తున్నా ఆ మాత్రి, ఉన్నఫళంగా చీకట్లో చిక్కుకున్నాడు.  ఏదో బేతాళ కధలో మాదిరిగా ఇలా అయ్యింది ఎంటిరా అని ఆలోచిస్తుండగా మంత్రిగారిని పొగుడుతూ, చపట్లతో ముంచెత్తారు తోటి మంత్రులు. ఒక్కముక్క కూడా అర్ధం కానీ మంత్రి, బిత్తర చూపులతో తన P .A వంక చూసాడు. వెంటనే  P .A, సార! ఇది అంధకారం!!! అంటే అంధేరా!!! అంతే సంగతులు , మిగతా మంత్రులు అందరు కలసి, అంధేరా ప్రదేశ్ అని మన తెలుగు వారి రాష్ట్రము పేరుని మార్చేసారు. పనిలో పని, వెంటనే పేరు మారుస్తూ ఒక G .O  పాస్ చేసాడు ఆ మాత్రి.

తను అనుకున్నది సాధించాడు. చీకటికి - ప్రాంతీయత ఉండదు, - వేర్పాటువాదుల బూతు ప్రుఅనలు ఉండవు, మరికొంతమంది దిక్కుతోచని వాళ్ళ  - పనికి రాణి ప్రసంగాలు ఉండవు. అన్నింటికీ మించి చీకటి అందరిని ఒకేతాటిపై పెట్టింది. దెబ్బకి దుకాణాలు బంద్. పరిశ్రమలకి locks. వ్యాపారాలు నడవవు, పని ఎచేతోడు ఎవ్వడు. ఎదిఐథెనెమ్ రాజు గారు అనుకున్నది సాధించి అందరిని ఒకేతతిపై నడిపించినందుకు, అధిష్టానం ఆయనని ఢిల్లీ పిలిచిమారి వెండి పూత పోసిన పట్టు తువలుతో సత్కరించింది.

చిన్నప్పుడు Shakthiman సీరియల్ DD -1   లో చుసిన ప్రతిఒక్కరికి ఈ dialogue గుర్తుంది ఉంటుంది - "అంధేరా కాయం రహేగా "  అంటే చీకటి రాజ్యం స్థాపించబడింది అని.

hereditary Problems of Indian Democracy

India, as a country today, was once a place for many rulers. Its THE favorite place of the world's Kings. Every King in the world dream of having at least part of its Land under his rule.  Even Alexander the Great, wanted to conquer India. Such was the importance of India in the history of Kings and Kingdoms. Thankfully, this dream of the west was fulfilled by the British whose rule called the British Raj ended in the year 1947. But they made sure that the Indian Emperors  ceased to exist well in 1858.

Thus, after Independence, and India becoming republic, the Kings and the Kingdoms have gone. But, this is limited to the History department of the University and the social studies text book of the school. People of India, have become so busy with their daily activity of earning their bread, that they have already voted for another form of rule. Wondering, how we have a King in the Democratic India? Surprised, that many of you, have already voted for such a thing. Its not just you, but our parents as well, have voted for it. Yes!

The Nehru-Gandhi family is the new Kings family for the Democratic India. Its just the change in the names. Prime Minister Nehru, PM - Indira Gandhi, PM - Rajiv Gandhi, PM 2014- Rahul Gandhi. It is a real shame for us to say that the largest democartic country in the world with 120 crore population is reeling under a psudeo Kingdom's rule. No matter whatever it is, we are living this minute under that families elected psuedo Prime Minister - Dr. Manmohan Singh. Ever wondered what is the way forward for India? We as responsible citizens of this great country India, have voted the MP's and MLA's, who go and kneel infront of the Gandhi family. Their day starts with praises for the Gandhi family and their interactions with Media and common public start, continue and end with their desire of making Mr.Rahul Gandhi, the A/C room chocloate boy, the mom's boy to be the next PM of India. People's leader must be someone like Narendra Modi or Nitish Kumar or the Y.S.Rajshekar Reddy garu or Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Having said all this, but if Congress-I comes to anywhere close to the majority in Loksabha in 2014, am sure we will have a psuedo leader from a family that takes democracy and ruling Independent democratic India as a hereditary who will rule this country - not on his consensus but by the force from his followers.

Purity of Tirumala.

In the month of May, as part of the by-election campaign, when Jagan anna went to visit sri Venkateswara Swamy, the Lord of Seven Hills, the God of Kaliyuga as per the Hindu faith, there has been a huge uproar from many political parties stating that Jagan anna is trying to degrade the Hindu temple faith. They went ahead and said that Christians should not be allowed to visit Tirumala. When Jagan anna has tried nothing in the sort which the other political parties have tried to picturize and defame Jagan anna's character.
As time went by, by-elections are contested and YSR-CP won in 15 constituencies by huge majority. Be it Hindu/Muslim/Christian, thanks to the people of AP, in having so much of faith on Jagan anna. Jagan anna or Shri Dr. Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy garu visited Tirumala regularly and have got blessings from Lord Venkanna.

Two persons have been caught recently trying to spread Christianity in Tirumala - the temple of Hindu God- Sri Venkateswara Swamy. This is not the first time that something like this has happened at Tirumala. The believers of Hinduism and the Hindu community has asked the Govt. to help them in eradicating this illegal act of spreading other religions in the Hindu temples.

It is a known fact to the world that India, in the recent years, has seen an increase in the number of religion conversion either to Buddhism or Islam or Christianity. This increase is affiliated to main reasons. Peer pressure, community pressure, other religious heads convincing the person or the person getting his wish fulfilled at the time he/she has made a prayer in a certain religious way and so on.

In general, Hindus have a family God. This means, though the family prays for all the Gods and celebrates all the festivals, they have one God in particular that the family believes in and prays that God almost everyday with all the faith and respect. The family God is none but a particular Hindu deity, who has helped the person in getting their family need fulfilled or that God who has listened to their pray for a particular thing and helped them come out strongly.

But,worship has got more to do with current emotional status of a person than with their family belief. Thus the conversions from one religion to other. We dont deny that there are no conversions into Hinduism. There is a good percentage of people from the west, getting converted to Hinduism in the last 5 to 10 years.

But the recent uproar is because of the activities of spreading other religions at Tirumala. The Hindu society has pleaded the Govt. to make stringent rules to stop this. But, many political parties have had tightly locked thier lips against this. Standing apart from the crowd in Mr. Narayana of CPM who has said that everyone has the right to spread other religion (Source: Narayana Words). Yes Sir! but not at other religious places. Mr.K.Narayana hails from Tirupathi. This Name Narayana means Venkatesa. Another name of Lord Venkanna.


Indians are very much friendly irrespective of their religion, caste, cred, sect in this 21st century.  Politicians like Narayana are making useless statements to cash on the religious vote bank. It is the duty of every Hindu to protect or for that matter duty of every Indian to help each other protect their own interests and others sentiments as well. We team Hyderabad Rocker, hope that our next generation will understand each other and stand for each other and respect each other sentiments

Fee Reimbursement - Andhra Pradesh

In the recent week that has gone by , has seen a lot of uproar on the fee reimbursement issue. Am sure, that the coming weeks will make us witness more of this kind. The concept of fee reimbursement has been in place of over 5 years in AP, thanks to Shri. Dr.Y.S.Rajashekar Reddy garu.

As chief minister of AP, DR.YSR garu has brought in many social advantage reforms in the sate like Arogyasri, 108, Jalya Yagnam (building the water bodies), Godavari and Krishna waters to city. Of all these, which help us sustain our daily activities and lead a life, the life of Telugu people, YSR believed will only be secure, when the next generations have good education. Thus he has started fee reimbursement for BCs, OBCs, SC, ST, and EBCs. It is his foresight that in the past 5 years, close to 6 lakh students have gained higher education in technical and medial streams.

After the sudden loss of Shri YSR garu, the state has run into lot of troubles. be it the slow pace of Jala yagnam, social atrocities,  bad political situations, loss of many projects to Tamil Nadu and Maharastra, degradation of Telugu pride in the country. To add on to this is the recent row over the fee reimbursement issue.

A few thoughts from Yadanapudi Eshwar Sowbhagya Prasad, the chief editor  of Hyderabad Rocker.

1. AP Govt, has failed to take steps in keeping a cap on the fee to be charged for the technical education.
2. The Govt. has also failed to make sure that students get good qulaity education. Blame it with the AITUC or JNTU or the state Techinical Education dept.
3. The Govt. has also failed to cancel the permissions to those colleges that failed to have the minimum facilities.
4. The Technical Colleges Management Association has called for an increase in the fees to be charged. But is it valid to ask for the increase in the fee and change in its structure, when there is no quality education available in many colleges across the state?
5. does all these colleges that run with 10% of the strength be considered for the fee reimbursement?
6. Many of the Ministers have asked the question on- why should Govt pay fees to those students if he/she doesn't even clear half of the subjects in very semester? This is a valid question.
• One, students must think before they choose a college.
• Two, the student should give value to the Govt.money, because its the tax payers money
• Three, even if they dont do the first two, at the end of 4th year, it they themselves who are at loss, as they wont be able to fit themselves in any job or position and in turn become a burden of their parents.

As part of the Govt. duty, the state Govt. should make sure that

• There is a cap on the fee for the techincal education.
• time to time validation of the facilities and faculty at the Engineering colleges across the state.
• Stop the fee reimbursement, if the student fails to clear all the subjects. I support our Governor (S.N.L. Narasimhan garu) in this aspect. Because paying fee for a failing student, who doesn't respect education is of no use to the society.
• Make sure that stringent actions be taken against the management of the colleges that fail to keep up with the changing demands in the education sector.
• Cancel the permissions of the colleges if they are not able to register at least 50% of the strength.

This is all about the future of students and future of state and future of India. Hence the decision has to be taken without any political thoughts and vote bank greediness. Else, am sure we will have to face a tough time ahead and the future generation will face very bad consequence.

కిరణ్ గారి పనికి రాని కలరింగ్

ఇదేదో అత్తా కోడళ్ళ వంటింటి వ్యవహారం లాగ ఉంది. మన రాష్ట్రం లోనే ఉత్పతి అయ్యే గ్యాస్ ని మనకే ఇవ్వాలి అని హైదరాబాద్ లో గగ్గోలు పెట్టితే   పట్టించుకోకుండా ఉన్న సెంటర్ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం, మన ముఖ్య మంత్రి కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారు పొలోమని విమానం కట్టుకొని ఢిల్లీ వెళ్లి ప్రధాన మంత్రి మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ ని కలిసిన రెండో రోజు మన గ్యాస్ మనకే అని చెప్పాడు.

 ఈ మాత్రం దానికి మనం కట్టిన తక్ష్ సొమ్ములు వాడుకుని ఢిల్లీ వెళ్ళాల్సిన అవసరం ఏంటి అని ప్రజలకి  అనుమానం వస్తోంది. పండు ముసలి వాళ్ళు సైతం ఈ విషయం ఫోన్ చేసి అడిగితేయ్ అయ్యేది కదా? అని బోసి ముఖం పెట్టి మరి నవ్వుతున్నారు !!!
