In the month of May, as part of the by-election campaign, when Jagan anna went to visit sri Venkateswara Swamy, the Lord of Seven Hills, the God of Kaliyuga as per the Hindu faith, there has been a huge uproar from many political parties stating that Jagan anna is trying to degrade the Hindu temple faith. They went ahead and said that Christians should not be allowed to visit Tirumala. When Jagan anna has tried nothing in the sort which the other political parties have tried to picturize and defame Jagan anna's character.
As time went by, by-elections are contested and YSR-CP won in 15 constituencies by huge majority. Be it Hindu/Muslim/Christian, thanks to the people of AP, in having so much of faith on Jagan anna. Jagan anna or Shri Dr. Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy garu visited Tirumala regularly and have got blessings from Lord Venkanna.
Two persons have been caught recently trying to spread Christianity in Tirumala - the temple of Hindu God- Sri Venkateswara Swamy. This is not the first time that something like this has happened at Tirumala. The believers of Hinduism and the Hindu community has asked the Govt. to help them in eradicating this illegal act of spreading other religions in the Hindu temples.

It is a known fact to the world that India, in the recent years, has seen an increase in the number of religion conversion either to Buddhism or Islam or Christianity. This increase is affiliated to main reasons. Peer pressure, community pressure, other religious heads convincing the person or the person getting his wish fulfilled at the time he/she has made a prayer in a certain religious way and so on.
In general, Hindus have a family God. This means, though the family prays for all the Gods and celebrates all the festivals, they have one God in particular that the family believes in and prays that God almost everyday with all the faith and respect. The family God is none but a particular Hindu deity, who has helped the person in getting their family need fulfilled or that God who has listened to their pray for a particular thing and helped them come out strongly.
But,worship has got more to do with current emotional status of a person than with their family belief. Thus the conversions from one religion to other. We dont deny that there are no conversions into Hinduism. There is a good percentage of people from the west, getting converted to Hinduism in the last 5 to 10 years.
But the recent uproar is because of the activities of spreading other religions at Tirumala. The Hindu society has pleaded the Govt. to make stringent rules to stop this. But, many political parties have had tightly locked thier lips against this. Narayana Words). Yes Sir! but not at other religious places. Mr.K.Narayana hails from Tirupathi. This Name Narayana means Venkatesa. Another name of Lord Venkanna.
Indians are very much friendly irrespective of their religion, caste, cred, sect in this 21st century. Politicians like Narayana are making useless statements to cash on the religious vote bank. It is the duty of every Hindu to protect or for that matter duty of every Indian to help each other protect their own interests and others sentiments as well.
