She comes to know that a landlord in a village has bought most of the lands forcibly from the village men. Court asks the farmers to pay 4 crores together to regain their lands. When Pragati realized that her father has gone against her wish of helping those farmers, her friend sketches a self-kidnap plan to demand 4 crores as ransom. The Defending champions of the T20 cricket world cup are out of the tournament.
After winning the toss India,
Bowling first in a Do-or-Die match against England they restricted the home team to 153-7 in their quota of 20 years.
In reply to England's 153 India ended loosing it with 3 runs.
England was succesful in all aspects of the game.

Bravo puts Windies bravely against India

Its a Dwyane Bravo day. He shined the ball and then made it go out of shape while he batted.

His alround performance against India gave WI a comfortable 7 wkt win. The defending champions had no answers either for Bravo's bowling or for his batting.

Batting first, the defending champions scored 153 at the loss of 7 wkts. Yuvraj scoring 67 was the only help for the team. Bravo took 4 wickets for 38.

WI chasing 153 were never down in any situation. There were only 3 overs in which the WI battesmen scored 5 or less number of runs. This single statment says it all that the WI were playing to win.

Ireland in super 8

It was out of anybodies imagination.....

a stunning performance by team Ireland.....and the result.....

Bangladesh is out of T20 tournament..

Batting first Bangladesh scored 137 ...they had really a very shaky start.

Even Ireland had a shaky start. They lost the oppener Bray when the runs on the board were just 6.

but then they came back really well to win it in total and in style just in 18.2 overs.....with six wickets in hand....

Team India off to a good start

Team India made it a comfortable win with good performances by players both with the bat and then with the ball and also on the field.
Electing to bat India made a decent 57 run first wicket partnership before Rohit Sharma(32 of 23) lost his wicket ,unable to judge a flight ball which turned into him keeping its height low.

After this there was some slowdown only to be made fast by Yuvi at the crease. He made firing shots by scoring 41 of just 18 balls to put India at 180-5.

In reply Bangladesh fought well but couldnt take it to the winning level.
They were stabbed to 155-7 in their allocated 20 overs.

Pragyan Ojha took 4 wickets and gave away 21 runs.

Air France Palne Crashes into Atlantic with 228 on board

An Air France plane with 228 people on board was presumed to have crashed into the Atlantic Ocean on Monday after hitting heavy turbulence during a flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.
The airline offered its condolences to the families of the passengers, making clear it did not expect to find survivors.
At least 60 of those on board were French, roughly 60 were Brazilians and two were Slovaks, their countries said.
Air France said the Airbus flew into stormy weather four hours after take-off from Brazil and soon afterwards sent an automatic message reporting electrical faults.
A company spokesman said several of the plane's mechanisms had malfunctioned.
"It is probably a combination of circumstances that could have led to the crash," he said, adding that the airliner might have been hit by lightning.
Aviation experts said lightning strikes on planes were common and were not enough alone to explain a disaster.
The Brazilian air force said the plane was far out over the sea when it went missing.
Military planes took off from the island of Fernando de Noronha off Brazil's northeast coast to look for it and the Brazilian navy sent three ships to help in the search.
France sent one of its air force planes from west Africa.
Flight AF 447 left Rio de Janeiro on Sunday at 7 p.m. (4:00 p.m. EDT) and had been expected to land at Paris's Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport on Monday at 11:15 a.m.
STORM PATCH
On its flight northeast from Rio, the jetliner would have had to pass through a notorious storm patch shifting around the equator known as the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
"It is a zone in the tropics where you can have particularly deep thunder clouds," said Barry Gromett, a meteorologist at the London Weather Center.
The carrier said 216 passengers were on board, including seven children and one baby, as well as 12 crew members

Nadal Ousted of French Open

Rafael Nadal’s hopes of a record fifth successive French Open title were crushed into the Roland Garros red dust by Robin Soderling’s Swedish sledgehammer on Sunday.
In one of the greatest upsets in the history of the tournament, the Spanish king of clay slumped to a first ever defeat here having racked up 31 wins in 31 outings since his 2005 debut.
Soderling’s stunning 6-2, 6-7(2), 6-4, 7-6(2) fourth round victory came just a month after he’d won only one game in a rout at the Rome Masters, his third defeat in three matches against the world No. 1.
The six-times Grand Slam champion seemed lacking in energy on Centre Court, losing the first set in 34 minutes before rallying back to win the second in a tie-break 7-2.
Soderling brushed that off as a mere inconvenience on his way to making sure a second champion was dismissed that day after women’s holder Ana Ivanovic was earlier beaten by Belarussian teenager Victoria Azarenka 6-2, 6-3.
