The American Factor : COPENHAGEN

This is in continuation with our older posts on Copenhagen Climate Summit.
In our previous post we asked what is America doing as a Big Brother, as it claims to itself.
NOTHING and we say again NOTHING. We are sorry to say this.

REQUEST HERE : American has global green house gas emissions of 50700 Million tonnes.

American wanted a promise from China and India that they will cut down the Green house gas emissions by at least 20% by 2020 A.D from the levels of 2009. So lets take a look at the current levels of Carbon Emissions of China and India.

CHINA : 1470 Crore Tonnes and
INDIA : 420 Crore Million Tonnes

So 20% of 1470 is 1176 Crore tonnes. and 20% of 420 Corore tonnes is 336 Crore tonnes.

But USA has promised that it will cut their carbon emissions to the level of 1990 A.D. in the Kyoto protocol. Now everyone is requesting America to cut down at least 15% of its current amount of the carbon emissions. But the fact is that the big brother is not at all moving its lips over this. Instead it is asking the African nations and the developing nations of the groups like the BRIC ( Brazil, Russia, India and China) and BASIC (Brazil, South Africa, India and China).

The reason :
1. USA is afraid that keeping the promise means cutting down the domestic growth.
2. It is afraid that the Automobile Industry Gaints of its country will bar the Govt and will stop supporting them in the future endeavors.
3. The Obama Govt is facing the heat from the fire that was set ablaze by the earlier Govt's.

What needs to be done :
1. America has to cut down its carbon emissions back to its 1990 levels.
2. They should keep the promise that they have made according to the Kyoto protocol.
3. They should not force other countries when it is not ready to do the action sought.
4. Should implement the strategies it promised in 1. and 2. without fail.

Challenge to the American Govt.
As the rightful member of the society and the son of the mother Earth we ask the Govt. of USA, will it make at least ONE of their citizen to STOP USING A CAR, for every FOUR of the members of a DEVELOPING nation does???



We respect Obama for his fast steps and words that he and his associates are making, but we need them to implement those said words.

Failing Hopes Failing Gods : COPENHAGEN

Where are we going to be next?

Am really happy that i wont be alive after 2100 A.D.

I should be thankful to God for giving me birth in the last century.

"At the start there was darkness, and then God said let there be light and there is light"......

But the above truth ends there, Yes! and of course.

Now there is nothing that going has to do and can do!

God now has no option to say nor does have the freedom to express the ideas.

Reason??? You guessed it right !!! and its our world leaders who have now taken the lime light.

We have given them a chance to be the next Gods and the path showers for the next generation.

But our current Leader God's have failed and they are thus making US(We) fail and there by making the whole mankind and God to fail.

They are at the same stage and have been made to assemble there to take a decision on "Climate Change"

The God's are now with their EGO and attitude have failed to show the path. They are unable to take a decision to save the MOTHER EARTH. They have failed and failed largely with no decision coming out even at the 14th day of the Climate meet.

They have used the stage to blame each other, to show that they are ready for a change, but not actually taking any steps to it.

Mr. barack Obama, President of USA and the Nobel Peace Prize winner, also known for his "Change! yes we can!" slogan has failed to allow the change to come in. Obama has largely failed as he was unable to come up with a definitive plan, and didn't act as the BIG BROTHER as he considers USA.

14 Days : Time to Save Mother Earth

Firstly ,Thanks for all those who have mailed us with some encouraging words for our posts and comments.

In line with the sequence of our articles that are asking the countries across the world to pay attention to the climate change , we have some other points here again.

HR team committed to a better society has mailed to many of the prominent politicians across the globe
Some of the content from our mail
1. To concentrate on to bring in a resolution instead of have heated arguments.
2. We, in our mail requested them not to have fingers pointing to each other about what has happened.

3. Please don't find out each others mistakes to save oneself, instead find out a solution to save mother Earth.
4. We have put a request not to discuss any political issues on the floor, including the Afghanistan, Pakistan and China and India border issues.
5. We have requested them not to make the platform of the Climate summit a political platform.
6. We have also requested them, not to make any political statements.


7. The Ice at the Arctic circle is melting at a faster rate and there by causing huge problems to all the nations (not just a few nations) and the coast areas of all the nations. We requested them address this issue.


8. There are a number of scientific observations and experiments and activities going on in the Antarctica. We reaquested them to post the results of all those experiments and assure all of us that there is not going to be any potential damage done to the continent.

Where should India Stand NOW??

On the view of the Copenhagen summit nearing, we the Hydereabad Rocker(HR) team have made a small survey with a groups of 4-5 and 15-20 people from different sections of the society and on the whole around 3000 people. The awareness of the climate changes and the discussions of these were known to all. Indians are now getting their piece of news they want, thanks to a number of news channels both in English and as well as local languages.

Developed Nations
Coming straight to the point from the survey, many opined that India should not make any statement to cut its carbon emissions in the percentages, but however can promise to have a cut only if the developed nations do it and show it first well before or at least by 2015. They also have pointed out that as the developed countries have seen the fruits of technology and development, its now their time to help the developing nations have their piece of cake.

China and Brazil and Canada

The survey points pint also to China. China has been mainly seen as an obstacle for India's growth. Its not because China exports large volumes to USA, but because China is forcing India to cut the carbon emissions even when it has the worlds highest emission rates.
Brazil has also come into the picture, but for a different reason. Many of the people who were part of the survey wanted Brazil to stop deforestation that is going on in the Amazon basin.

At the home, Indians have kept themselves away from cutting trees and have put the deforestation count to the least in the past 50 years.

The survey also points out a finger at the Lumberjacks of Canada, who are cutting down trees at much faster rate than it was somw 15-20 years ago, thanks to the new methodologies and machines that have come up. The people of India also want this cutting rate to come down

Only One Earth : Save it for our better

Firstly : Sorry for keeping my self away from Blogging for morethan a week. I was busy with my project delivery and etc.

WE HAVE ONLY ONE EARTH, SAVE IT . NASA has not found another nor will be able to create it.

Coming to the post, lets discuss the climate issues and the promises that every individual country is trying to make and also trying to get the same from other countries too. But how does this climate conference at Copenhagen have such a high importance???
The reason is well known to all of us by now.

But there are still many more that we need to know. In the past 15 years of time span the Ice cover in the Green land has gone by 1.2 % and is melting really faster. The Tsunami in the year 2004 has made many believe that there needs to be some check in the carbon emissions and there needs to some way in which we can save the climate around us.

On these grounds most of the countries have come up to sign the Kyoto protocol and which expires in 2012. But the changes are now have become really unpredictable and seems to flow out of hands.

United States of America, considered as the big brother to all after the WW-2 has taken the lead to have a frame work to save climate and reduce the carbon emissions.


But what does USA want from all the countries. 1. Reduce the carbon emissions
2. Put down the percentage of deforestation.
3. Reduce the use of coal as the main source of electricity production
4. reduce the count of vehicles on the roads

this sounds really good, really better to hear from the big brother. But what is the brother doing for the climate??
NOTHING...absolutely nothing from his side. He wants promises from all other countries.

Am not trying to blame the poor , avg. income group of Americans. But the F1 races, bike races, high number of charter flights, usage of high amounts of petrol for these has not come down.

The number of private transport vehicles on roads and interstate have not come down.
So USA has to promise first and then ask others do the same.

We will come up with a series of articles on the climate issue from today till the end of Copenhagen meet.
